Formed in 2025 in Norfolk , Virginia the band draws inspiration from legendary icons like James Brown, Aretha Franklin, and Prince, blending rich instrumentation with dynamic vocals. Each member brings their unique flair, from deep groovy bass lines to soaring vocal melodies, creating a rich tapestry of sound that gets audiences moving.

Shormey is the musical project of Shormey Adumuah. Currently based in Chesapeake - Virginia, Shormey makes music that explores the genres of underground dance, r&b, funk + psychedelia through introspection and nostalgia.
