Born on the cusp of the death of western civilization, Nixil is a manifestation of chaos, rage,

strength, and despair, channeled through the art, magick, delirium, and sonic violence of

extreme music. Their influences range from the weirder side of Mayhem to the atmospheric

expansiveness of the French avant garde scene, twisted together through occult psychedelia

with powerful, driving rhythms in the filthy spirit of crust punk and snaking riffs of moody,

progressive melodies. Crafting a sound and vision which captures the fervent essence of the

classics while forging something strange and new, Nixil weaves and wanders their tortuous path

in their own unique form of surrealist black metal. With two albums - All Knots Untied

(independent release, 2021) and From The Wound Spilled Forth Fire (Prosthetic Records, 2023)

- under their belt and two more on the horizon for 2026, Nixil has steadily garnered a loyal

following through extensive live appearances across the span of the US, with much more to
