The Last Post is the solo project of Logan Betz. Pairing catchy melodies with emotionally-driven lyrics and drawing on influences both old and new, TLP is equal parts fresh and nostalgic.

Betz came of age at the sugar rush zenith of emo and pop-punk and the music’s earnestly emotive songwriting made an indelible impact on him. He writes open-heartedly about his own mental health struggles, love, relationships, and nostalgia, and his 7-song debut EP, “Wayfinder,” compiles all the musical elements that are most meaningful to him. There are stripped-down acoustic ballads, energetic pop-punk tunes with screaming, and even ethereal, synth-textured emo.

For fans of Dashboard Confessional, The Get Up Kids, The New Amsterdams, Saves the Day, The Juliana Theory, and the sweet (or, um, sappy) sounds of poppy emo.
