Guitarist Scott Morese was inspired to play the blues at age 13 after seeing B.B. King.

During his high school years, he performed with numerous blues bands in the

Washington, D.C. area before cutting his teeth in the gritty Chicago blues scene of the

late ’80s and early ’90s. Over the past 30+ years, Scott has remained active on the East

Coast blues circuit, performing from New England to Florida and becoming a familiar

presence in the Richmond, Baltimore, and Washington, D.C. blues communities.

Scott has shared the stage with blues legends including Buddy Guy, James Cotton,

Jimmy Johnson, Willie “Big Eyes” Smith, Louis Myers, Kansas City Red, Tommy

McCracken, Jimmy “Fast Fingers” Dawkins, Bobby Parker, and others. He has also

performed at renowned blues venues including Kingston Mines, Wise Fools Pub, Buddy

Guy’s Legends, Maxwell Street Market, Delta Fish Market, City Blues Café, Sunset

Grille, Farmers Market Inn, and Moondance Saloon, among others. Scott also hosted a

long-running Sunday blues jam at Baltimore’s legendary Full Moon Saloon.

Now calling Richmond, Virginia home, Scott continues to bring the energy and attitude

of the Chicago South Side blues to the stage. It’s high-energy, gritty, raw, fast-paced,

and deeply rooted in the blues—music built to move a room, get people dancing, and

keep the energy going.
