Bean Stew is an instrumental jazz/funk/blues experience based out of RVA. A 5 piece with a power house rhythmic trio at the center composed of drums, bass, and organ/piano, with the saucy flavorings of guitar and trumpet on top. We combine the groove of 60’s organ blues and swagger of timeless jazz/funk pieces with jams and experimentation reminiscent of bands like Grateful Dead, Phish, and Medeski, Martin, & Wood. Our sound is sure to move you, and leave you wanting a second helping

Caterpillar Trap is a five-piece band from Richmond. The diverse musical backgrounds of its members and wide range of influences blend into a quirky fusion of rock, funk, hip-hop and jazz.

Half Step Getaway is comprised of experienced musicians from various bands across Virginia, Half Step Getaway aims to bring far out and intense genre crossing jams to the music of The Grateful Dead and much more.
