Space Cubs
Space Cubs
Born by songwriter/producer, Suzanne Bonifacio in 2011, Space Cubs became an active touring band following early LPs with the addition of visual artist/producer, Shawn Lewis (a.k.a. Lesionread), and visual artist/guitarist, Adam Pressley (a.k.a. Frenchpressley). Space Cubs is set to release LP "The 4th Age" in June 2019 with a month of tour dates along the east coast and midwest in summer 2019.
Space Cubs sound rings full of powerful vocals, sonorous harmonies, dissonant electronics, processed guitars, jagged percussion, esoteric samples, ambient textures, and unconventional songwriting. The band's live show incorporates their own made visual media and light show, tangled around a commanding stage presence.
Zooanzoo
Zooanzoo
Zooanzoo, Zoo for short, local demon creates the cross-chatter - between the cosmic twins, with a tasty gumbo of dark gospel, harsh jazz, bebop-trip-hop, skattin', croonin', and a dash o' honest madness. Bound to entertain, induce the trance dance, usually featuring live drums from Sprit that'll shake your bones up. Hailing from a small village in the mountains, but born in the swamps of Louisiana, Zoo aims to treat, to create an environment where all can reflect on their vulnerabilities through the music.

"With his experimental hodgepodge of electronica, trip-hop, and chillwave, Zooanzoo out of Harrisonburg has established himself as one of the state’s most imaginative musicians. Don’t let the genre tags deter you though -- this music is as accessible and focused as it is ingenious and cavalier, showcasing a focused vision that allows each song to come into the world fully realized. Neo-traditional rarely sounds this inviting, making the music of Zooanzoo worth any experiment you wish to perform."

Gardener
Gardener
Gardener is the solo electronic project of Richmond, VA-based Dash Lewis. Using a modular synth, effects pedals, and his own voice, Lewis creates glacial slabs of rhythmically complex, trance-inducing psychedelia, weaving looped vocal passages into deeply textural drones. Interested in the organic interplay between electronics and the human voice, Dash works to meld seemingly disparate elements into a single instrument, creating compositions that encourage a state of deep listening.
