“…epitomizes Americana folk, country, and blues.” – NY Music Examiner
“…sweetly optimistic and fun-loving…” – Guitar World Magazine
Huntington Beach, CA - February 23, 2018 (Press Release) - David Rosales has announced the release of his first full-length album, Brave Ones, due out April 27, 2018. The singer-songwriter returns with his rich baritone vocal and hopeful melodies that create a perfect blend of authentic country, folk, blues and rock.
On the album, Rosales shares, "It's 11 songs of love, loss, adversity and triumph. I get into some pretty heavy subjects, but overall, the album has a positive vibe. It's uplifting and makes me feel better after I listen to it...I'm hopeful it does the same for the listener."
The 11-track album was co-produced by Matt Grundy (Donavon Frankenreiter) and Rosales himself. The team took to recording in the wind-swept Southern California High Desert region inside an isolated log cabin dubbed, Super Bloom Studios. The album clearly displays Rosales' diverse songwriting prowess, as he seamlessly blends his vintage sonic taste with fresh vision, channeling inspirations such as Sam Cooke, Johnny Cash, Ryan Adams and Nathaniel Rateliff.

David Rosales is a Los Angeles-native, raised in a mixed family of seven brothers and sisters, where upon his 11th Birthday was given his first guitar by his grandfather. He instantly fell in love with the instrument and began writing songs of his own. Since that time, David has been involved in several significant projects, most notably hard rock band Silent Treatment, the Americana duo David & Olivia, and now, continuing as a solo artist. Having previously released two solo EPs (Smile, Along the Way), Brave Ones will be his debut full-length album. When not taking the stage, the deep-rooted family man enjoys spending time at home in Huntington Beach, CA with his wife and two children in the ocean and on the trails.

Landon Elliott
Landon Elliott
From a small town on the sandbars off the coast of North Carolina to the fanning asphalt of Richmond, VA; somewhere between the soft orange glow of the sunsets on those shores and the exposing neons of his new fluorescent city, you find Landon Elliott and his sound. It’s at this crossroads of life that he chronicles songs of this evolution while homaging the humble beginnings in his bible belt, beach town.
Through his writing, Landon seeks to speak into the common threads of the human experience. Through feeling love and loss, growing older, experiencing shame and loneliness, and finding both freedom and challenges in doubt, his vulnerability and storytelling leads listeners behind his eyes to a view that seems oddly familiar.
Whether melodies are softly meeting you through a ballad or shouted in anthems at the strain of his vocal cords, Landon’s voice carries melodies with a purpose: to be heard and known, and to help other feel known and not alone.
With one foot firmly set in heartland and the other dipping into indie rock, we find Landon in a headspace as diverse as the city of Richmond where he now resides. Whether listening with held breathe or screaming at the top of your lungs, there is a place for you at the table to enjoy his songs.
Landon Elliott is on American Paradox Music (Richmond, VA) and is scheduled to release music in 2019.
