BRIGHTWORK
BRIGHTWORK
In their most recent release, Virginia-based band Brightwork blends sweet and soaring melodies with big guitars in the service of a redemptive message with the album "Hope For Love". Carpenter stresses a positive and honest heart in these songs that acknowledge a path of spiritual triumph and struggle, ultimately giving tunes like “Let Me Love You,” “Valley”, and “Now Or Never” a very urgent edge. A ringing idealism lights up in the song “Difference,” while “Heart Shaped Hole” captures a yearning to truly know one's purpose. The title track,"Hope For Love", radiates a sincerity that makes its anthemic choruses feel like personal confessions of doubt and faith. One can certainly hear the influence of bands like "anberlin" and "switchfoot" throughout their discography, and especially in this record. With years of touring and writing under their belts, be vigilant as things continue to unfold for this young group of guys and their music. Follow them at @brightworkband and keep an eye out for them in your city.

A Greater Tomorrow
A Greater Tomorrow
Out of darkness comes light with A Greater Tomorrow. The pop-rock/alternative band was formed in February 2010 out of Saint Joseph, MO after a mutual friend died in a tragic fire. AGT originally formed together in remembrance of their friend, but very quickly noticed that they had potential to do something with their musical talent and shared desire in the music industry. A Greater Tomorrow was formally signed to RockXRecords by winning a national battle of the bands. While part of ReockXRecords, A Greater Tomorrow worked with world renowned Jeff Blue (Atlantic Records, Warner Bros, Linkin Park, Korn, etc) (www.jeffbluemusic.com) who co-wrote two songs “Chemicals” and “Gone” with the band. The two songs are both found on A Greater Tomorrows’ debut EP titled “Just In Time” which was released April 21, 2012 at the bands EP Release Show which brought over 650 people in attendance. AGT has an average local crowd of 175-300 people and has played in front of crowds reaching as high as 2000 people in attendance. The EP got the attention of many people and brought the band hundreds of new fans in just weeks of the release. A Greater Tomorrow consists of four members ranging in age from 16-19. With their young and appealing looks, very energetic live performances, and supreme professional and unforgettable catchy sound A Greater Tomorrow is the ultimate package for the music industry in the 21st century at the top level.
Two Sides of Me
Two Sides of Me
Two Sides of Me is a mixed genre band based out of central Virginia. Through our mix of post-hardcore, pop-punk, and metal style music, we plan to ignite the scene within our community as well as reach out to new horizons around the world. The lot of us have been involved with many musical endeavors over the years, but when a few of us met through our jobs and mutual friends, our love for music blossomed and the band ensued. We're so excited to perform and share our love of music with people from all walks of life, and to continue to spread a positive message throughout each community, made possible by the songs we play and the love and support we receive from our family, friends, and fans.
