Brother Hawk
Brother Hawk
Formed in 2010, southern rock band Brother Hawk features four members passionate about rock ‘n’ roll: J.B. Brisendine (vocals/guitar), Nick Johns-Cooper (keys/vocals), James Fedigan (bass), and Allan Carson (drums). With incredible energy, the four piece combines their love for both classic rock legends including Neil Young, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, and The Allman Brothers Band with contemporary rock artists including Soundgarden and The Black Crowes.

Once started, Brother Hawk wasted no time releasing their first EP, Love Songs, in June 2011, which they followed with a second EP one year later called Affairs of Plain Living. In December 2013, the band released a live in‐studio session on YouTube titled “Live from Pack Life Recording.” Beginning in 2014, Brother Hawk began touring outside of their native Atlanta, building a name for themselves throughout the southeastern U.S. Later that year, the band announced the creation of their own music festival, Brother Hawk’s Big Medicine Festival. The festival has since become an annual tradition in the Atlanta music scene.

In 2016, Brother Hawk released their debut album, Big Medicine, a collection of ten songs from their previous EPs. Later that year, they toured the U.S. with fellow Atlanta southern rock band Blackberry Smoke. Since then, the band has appeared on Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Simple Man Cruise” and the Joe Bonamassa’s “Keeping the Blues Alive Cruise.”
