My Way
My Way
In 2010, MyWay was conceived as a mash up of unlikely suspects ready to make an impression on the daring Richmond music scene. The first installments of sound were heavy metal type jams with a Zappa-type flare under the name Trapezoid. As the sound and friendships grew stronger the band mutually agreed on a new project name MyWay, a name that resonates to each member personally and as a whole group. Separate but together, strong as individual but stronger as a whole, it is our yin and yang. Emerging as one of Richmond’s new must see acts, MyWay has a little something for everyone.
The Mad Children
The Mad Children
A psychedelic, rock n roll band w/ bluegrass roots from Richmond, Virginia, based on the creative songwriting abilities of James Baxter and Will Russell.
Hoax Hunters
Hoax Hunters
A few years ago, PJ Sykes put down the guitar and picked up the camera, putting focus on his blossoming music photography career. Though the lens never took him far from the stage, he could only stay away for so long – through a few band “blind dates” collaborating with James O’Neill of Snowy Owls, and Tim Falen of Hot Dolphin and the Diamond Center, Hoax Hunters came into view.

Drawing comparisons to underground heroes like Minutemen, Hüsker Dü, and Dag Nasty, Hoax Hunters have been washing Richmond, VA and surrounding areas in feedback, drawing crowds for their infectious tunes, and their explosive and unhinged live shows.

Hoax Hunters are due to release their first album in the summer of 2014 – with a digital release from Sykes’ label, Cherub Records – which is sure to capture the ears of noise-rock fans everywhere.
